Requesting the additional funds through supplementary grants for the current financial year (2023-24), the letter stressed the need for swift action to ensure the vehicle’s continued security and functionality.
Punjab Minister for Information Uzma Bukhari, speaking to HUM News English, defended the repair and maintenance of official vehicles as routine tasks. She said that attributing such actions to the chief minister is unwarranted sensationalism and pointed out the necessity of the repairs.
