Rwanda’s FM arrives in Pakistan, UAE’s Deputy PM to arrive shortly

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Rwanda Ambassador Olivier J P Nduhungirehe has arrived in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson said on Sunday.

The Foreign Minister of Rwanda will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. He will also officially inaugurate the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda in Islamabad.

Pakistan, Afghanistan agree to foster mutually beneficial ties

Pakistani business community is also scheduled for a meeting with the visiting dignitary.

This is the first visit of the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Rwanda to Pakistan after the establishment of diplomatic missions, Foreign Office Spokesperson said.

UAE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER’S VISIT

The Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed will arrive in Pakistan today, the Foreign Office said.

“The visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE is a symbol of the promotion of bilateral cooperation,” Foreign Office Spokesperson said, adding that the USE Deputy PM will hold an important meeting with his Pakistani counterpart.”

The agenda of the meeting includes trade, investment and energy cooperation. The two Foreign Ministers will also discuss regional security and people-to-people relations.

UAE Deputy PM will also meet with PM Sharif and discuss the shared vision for peace and prosperity in the region.

“Sheikh Abdullah’s visit to Pakistan will further strengthen long-standing relations with the UAE,” Foreign Office Spokesperson said.
