Sale, flying of kites banned in Karachi

KARACHI: In response to numerous incidents causing severe injuries due to stray kite strings, the Karachi Commission has taken action by imposing a ban on the sales and flying of kites within the metropolitan area.

Effective immediately, the manufacturing, sale, and flying of kites are prohibited under Section 144 CrPC across the city from March 30 to May 29.
