Salman Akram Raja among several PTI leaders arrested from across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Several leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including Salman Akram Raja, have been arrested across Pakistan while protesting against alleged rigging in the February general election.
Salman Akram Raja was arrested by the police in Lahore, prompting strong condemnation from PTI.
The Punjab Police also arrested Sardar Latif Khosa, amidst a wave of arrests targeting protesting PTI workers. Shehbaz Khosa, his son, confirmed his father’s arrest by the station house officer Cantt.
During a protest in Multan, PTI South Punjab President Moin Riaz Qureshi and Multan President Malik Adnan Dogar were both arrested.

In Rawalpindi, tensions escalated as PTI workers clashed with police following the prevention of a demonstration rally, led by Seemabia Tahir, from entering the city via the Khanna Pul route.
