PESHAWAR: A Saudi Airline flight made an emergency landing at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan airport on Thursday morning when one of its landing gear caught fire.

Saudi Airline flight SV 792, carrying 276 passengers, was coming from Riyadh to Peshawar when while landing one of its landing gear caught fire.

The Air Tower Control immediately informed the pilot of the sparks in its landing gear who managed to land the Saudi Airline plane safely.

Fire tenders reached the site and successfully controlled the fire in the landing gear of a Saudi airline flight, according to a spokesperson.

All 276 passengers and 21 crew members exited the aircraft using the emergency slides, the spokesperson added.
