Saudi Airline flight makes emergency landing at Karachi airport

KARACHI: A Saudi airline flight made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Friday after an engine light warning appeared mid-flight.

According to the Pakistan Airports Authority spokesperson, the flight had departed from Karachi for Jeddah when the pilot decided to return upon noticing the engine light.

The airport administration promptly implemented all emergency SOPs in response to the situation. The aircraft landed safely under the supervision of air traffic control.

The spokesperson confirmed that all passengers were safely off-loaded. During the initial inspection, no fault was found in the engine.

Aviation officials stated that passenger safety remains the top priority, and a detailed investigation into the incident is underway.
