Saudi Ambassador congratulates Kakar on assuming office

ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia H.E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, called on caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Saudi Ambassador congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming office and conveyed best wishes and greetings on behalf of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, as well as Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia.
The PM expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for their unwavering assistance in maintaining Pakistan’s economic stability and advancement. The significant Pakistani workforce in Saudi Arabia was highlighted, and a plea was made to the Saudi authorities to persist in providing them with the necessary support and facilitation.
Caretaker govt to ensure continuity in economic policies: PM Kakar
The Prime Minister lauded the vision of the Saudi leadership and said that Saudi Arabia could always count on Pakistan as its trusted and reliable partner.
The Prime Minister stressed the ongoing commitment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to its established objectives. The Council will maintain its efforts to streamline foreign investments, with a specific focus on expediting investments from Saudi Arabia. In this context, he pointed out energy, infrastructure, agriculture, IT, and workforce development as key areas with the potential for collaboration.
Ambassador Nawaf reiterated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were bound together in a fraternal relationship, which was characterized by mutual trust and understanding, and close cooperation on all bilateral and regional issues of common interest.
