Saudi Foreign Minister’s visit focused on economic and strategic cooperation with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The two-day visit of Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan and his delegation to Pakistan was aimed at fostering cooperation following discussions between the Prime Minister and the Saudi Crown Prince
During the visit, the Saudi Foreign Minister and his delegation held meetings with the President, Prime Minister, and Army Chief General Asim Munir.

Discussions centered on enhancing economic partnership, bilateral relations, and cooperation across various sectors. Both sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral economic and strategic ties, with a particular focus on facilitating Saudi investment in Pakistan.
A highlight of the visit was the Saudi Arabia-Pakistan Investment Conference, jointly chaired by the two foreign ministers. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated the the conference would pave the way for Saudi investment in Pakistan and the vast opportunities for development in different sectors.
The Saudi delegation expressed deep interest in Pakistan’s investment system and appreciated the role of the Saudi-Pakistan Supreme Coordination Council (SPSCC). Regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East, were also discussed, with both foreign ministers stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to Israeli atrocities.

The Saudi delegation included officials from various ministries and the General Secretary of the Saudi-Pakistan Supreme Coordination Council, demonstrating the breadth of engagement between the two countries.
