The live broadcast aims to provide citizens with direct access to the legal proceedings, fostering a greater understanding of the case and the justice system.
This move aligns with the Supreme Court’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, allowing the public to witness the legal process unfold in real-time. The live streaming of proceedings is expected to promote accountability and public trust in the judicial system.
PPP leader and senator Sherry Rehman spoke on the matter and called the SC’s decision a welcome move. “A bench judge at the time of the death of Zulfiqar Bhutto had admitted that it was judicial murder,” she said.
