School timings for Ramazan announced

LAHORE: Revised school timings have been announced for private and public schools of Punjab and Sindh for the holy month of Ramazan.

According to the notification issued by the Punjab Schools education department, from Monday to Thursday the schools will open from 8:30 am and would close at 1:00 pm. On Fridays, the schools will close at 12:30 pm.

For schools that have double shifts, the morning timings will be from 8:00 am till 1:00 pm and the second shift will come from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm.

While on Friday the second shift will start from 2:30 pm till 4:00 pm

While in Sindh, schools operating single shifts will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Are the medical schools tuition fees being reduced?

The timings for double-shift institutions will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by afternoon sessions from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM.

On Fridays, the school timings will be from 7:30 am till 10:30 am afternoon sessions will end at 1:15 PM.

School administrators have been directed to implement these Ramazan timings immediately upon the commencement of the holy month.
