WEB DESK: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the temperature will increase in most cities of the country, starting today (April 13). This week, until Friday, there is also a possibility of a heatwave, says PMD.
According to the heatwave alert, the daytime temperature across multiple cities in Pakistan is likely to be 6 to 8 degree Celsius higher than normal.
Going region by region, Islamabad and surrounding areas will be hot and dry, with the mercury topping 04 to 06 degrees above normal. Likewise, central and upper Punjab will also get similar weather. For Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PMD predicts dry heat, which could also cause winds and gusts due to the heatwave.
