According to a spokesperson from the Punjab Home Department, this restriction will remain in place until Tuesday, October 8.
The decision to impose section 144 in Lahore has been made to ensure public safety and maintain law and order in the city.

Authorities fear that large gatherings could serve as easy targets for terrorist attacks, according to an official notification.
The move follows recommendations from the district administration, who raised concerns about the security situation.
This measure aims to protect both citizens and property, as the city has recently witnessed heightened tensions and potential unrest.
However, despite restrictions, PTI leadership has remained undeterred, announcing its intent to proceed with the rallies as scheduled across Punjab.
