Senate session to be convened this week

ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has decided to summon the session of the upper house of the Parliament this week.

Leader of the House Ishaq Dar wrote a letter to the Senate chairman requesting him to convene the session of the upper house in order to hold a debate on the Palestinian situation.

PTI calls for emergency senate session to discuss humanitarian crisis in Gaza

The other political parties in the Senate also recommended the summoning of the session.

During the session, the Senate will express solidarity with the besieged Palestinians and condemn atrocities by the Israeli occupying forces.
