ISLAMABAD: With a promise to root out terrorism from Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said the government was working on a comprehensive, practical and effective strategy to get rid of terrorists of all kinds and manifestations.
In this regard, he cited the Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA-like terrorist groups operating in Balochistan), Khawarij (Taliban and other extremists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and various anti-social elements.
The State of Pakistan has adopted a multi-dimensional approach in the war against terrorism, the prime minister said, as he chaired a meeting of the steering committee formed under the slogan of “Harden the State”.
