Sher Afzal Marwat arrested again, released soon after

ISLAMABAD: Sher Afazl Marwat has been arrested by the police once again and has been taken to Golra police station.

The arrest was confirmed by Sher Afzal Marwat’s X, formely Twitter account, through a post. Details surrounding the arrest have not yet been confirmed. However, there are reports that the arrest took place due to the violation of Section 144.

Soon after, Islamabad Police Spokesman announced that Marwat had been released.

“Sher Afzal Marwat was released after assurances that he will not spread chaos”, the spokesperson said.
