Sindh extends summer holidays for all educational institutions

KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has announced an extension of the summer holidays for educational institutions across the province, now lasting until 14 August 2024.

This decision was prompted by the ongoing heatwave and anticipated monsoon rains, according to a notification released by the department.

The notification clarified that while the extension is in place, co-curricular activities planned for 14 August 2024, including celebrations, will proceed as scheduled.

Initially, the department had set a two-month summer break from 1 June to 31 July for all public and private institutions. There are no alterations to the summer holiday schedules in Punjab or other provinces.
