SJC approves three nominations for Supreme Court justices

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, convened to decide on the appointment of the next Supreme Court justices.

The three nominated judges include Lahore High Court’s (LHC) Chief Justice Malik Shehzad, LHC justice Shahid Bilal, and Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Aqeel Abbasi. The SJC approved all three nominations, which will now be sent to the parliamentary committee for final approval.
