VEHARI: A small aircraft crashed near Anwarabad on Luddan Road in Punjab’s Vehari district on Tuesday, authorities confirmed.
Eyewitnesses reported that the plane went down in fields close to a private oil company’s depot. They said a loud explosion was heard across the area, followed by flames and thick smoke rising into the sky.
According to initial reports, two pilots were on board, and both sustained minor injuries. Police said the pilots managed to eject safely using parachutes before the crash.

Rescue teams provided first aid on-site, and both pilots are reported to be out of danger.
The cause of the crash is still unknown, and police say an investigation is underway.
