SNGPL ensures eight hour gas supply for domestic consumers

ISLAMABAD:  In a welcomed announcement, Sui Northern Gas officials have confirmed that domestic consumers will enjoy an eight-hour daily gas supply in December.

Furthermore, the gas supply will remain uninterrupted for all sectors, ensuring continued access to this vital resource.

Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) revealed that significant strides have been made in preparation for winter gas supply. The government has secured additional Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) shipments to cater to the heightened gas demands expected in December.

Threefold increase in gas prices expected

These supplementary LNG deliveries will play a pivotal role in meeting domestic needs, elevating the available gas supply to a robust 1850 Million Cubic Feet Per Day (MMcf/d) during the winter month. Sui Northern Gas has submitted a comprehensive supply plan to the government for this purpose.
