Snowfall Continues in Neelum Valley, Main Highway Closed

NEELUM VALLEY: Continuous rain and snowfall in Neelum Valley have not only disrupted the communication system but also led to the closure of the main highway for traffic.
According to details, cold has intensified due to rain and heavy snowfall in Neelum Valley, Jagran Valley, Lwat Bala, and Arang Kel. Snowfall also continues in Gurez, Shounter, and Sargan Valley. The Neelum Highway from Sharda to Taobat is currently closed for traffic due to heavy snowfall.
The communication system in Neelum Valley has also been affected.
WEATHER UPDATE
Meanwhile, according to the Met Office, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country over the next 12 hours.
Rain and light snowfall are expected in Murree and Galiyat, while snowfall is likely in Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Battagram.
Most areas of Punjab, including Lahore, are expected to receive rain from tomorrow (January 31) as a new rain-bearing system enters the country. This system is expected to bring light showers and a drop in temperatures, providing relief from the recent spell of hot and dry weather.
In Sindh, mostly dry and cold weather is predicted.
