KARACHI: The police have formed a special investigation team to probe the Karsaz accident case that has been registered against Natasha Danish Iqbal, the female SUV driver.
The suspect, Natasha Danish, has been booked and arrested for recklessly driving her Toyota Land Cruiser and killing Imran Arif, aged 60, and his daughter Amna Arif near the Karsaz area on August 19.
A special investigation team led by SSP-Investigation Aleena Rajpar has been formed. All CCTV footage recordings have been collected and are being examined by investigators.
The blood test report of the female driver is expected within the next 24 hours. Based on the medical reports, more sections may be added to the FIR and the future course of action for the investigation will be decided.
The DIG said the arrested female driver’s family has not submitted any medical report or history to the probe team so far.

ANOTHER KARSAZ ROAD ACCIDENT VICTIM IN CRITICAL CONDITION
An injured man from the Karsaz road accident, that claimed the lives of a father and daughter and wounded three other persons, is in critical condition at a hospital in the metropolis.
Family members of the injured man, Abdul Salam, on Saturday, told Geo News that the next 48 hours were crucial for him as he had been put on a ventilator.
“So far, we have not been contacted by any representative of the government. We have no one for help except for Allah,” a family member said, upon query.
The family also said after being brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Abdus Salam remained in excruciating pain for more than eight hours and no one was there to look after him.
Abdul Salam, a resident of Korangi No 1, was a book supplier and had “gone for supplying books as usual when the incident took place,” they said.
