He also stressed the significance of coal transportation in covering nearly 50 percent of railway costs and highlighted the necessity for ongoing endeavors to ensure efficient railway operations.
Aamir Ali recognized the efforts of former Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in enhancing the railway system, including track restoration and the revitalization of profitable train services.
Each year, people from across Pakistan travel to different parts of the country to meet their loved ones over the two Eid holidays. Trains are the most common mode of transportation for people traveling long distances in Pakistan.
The special trains are a welcome initiative by the railways department to cater to the needs of people who want to spend their holidays with their loved ones. The provision of the additional travel options aims to ease the burden on regular train services.
Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on April 11 in Pakistan.
