Speeding bus runs over bystanders, motorcyclists in Karachi, two dead

KARACHI: Two people were killed when a speeding passenger bus ran over bystanders and several motorcyclists in Karachi Site Area.

According to details, this tragic traffic incident occurred on Monday near Bhawani Chali in Karachi, where a speeding passenger bus ran over multiple motorcyclists.

As a result, two motorcyclists were killed, while six others as well as a pedestrian were injured.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene, and volunteers transported the deceased and the injured to the hospital.

According to police, the initial reports indicate that the brakes of the bus had failed. The bus driver has fled from the scene.

Investigations have been launched into the incident and search is on for the bus driver.
