SSC exams postponed in KP

PESHAWAR: The annual SSC (9th and 10th grade) exams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, originally slated for March 14, have been postponed to April 18, 2024.

This decision follows requests from concerned students and parents who raised apprehensions about the exams coinciding with the holy month of Ramazan, typically observed in March or April.

The Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar emphasized the significance of taking Ramazan into account and showing respect for the sentiments of the community, following appeals from students and parents.

This sentiment resonated during a meeting of all board chairmen in the province, leading to a unanimous agreement to reschedule the exams.
