Sunday weather: Hot, dry conditions expected nationwide, rain likely in Kashmir

WEB DESK: The weather on Sunday is expected to be hot and dry across much of the country. However, there is a chance of rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers in Kashmir and nearby hilly regions.

In Islamabad, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts dry conditions. Likewise, in Punjab, most districts are likely to experience hot and dry weather, a pattern that is expected to be mirrored in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan, where dry conditions are also anticipated.

Kashmir may see some variation, with partly cloudy skies and potential rainfall in a few areas, alongside strong winds and thunderstorms. In Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather is forecast to remain partly cloudy.
