CJ Isa to address Supreme Court today to mark ‘new judicial year’

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will commence its new judicial year with a ceremony in Courtroom No. 1 today (Monday).
The event will feature an address by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, marking the start of the court’s judicial calendar.

Attorney General Mansoor Usman is also expected to participate in the ceremony, alongside the Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council and the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Both legal representatives will be present to mark the beginning of the new judicial term.
This judicial year is going to see Chief Justice Faez Isa retiring as the chief justice (in October), and the nominated Justice Mansoor Ali Shah taking the helm of affairs at the apex court.
