Three petrol pumps sealed for halting supply

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) authorities have sealed three petrol pumps in the federal capital and arrested their managers for suspending fuel supply following the announcement of reduced petroleum prices.

The action was taken by Assistant Commissioner (AC) City after several petrol pumps halted operations, causing inconvenience to the public. Two more managers were arrested for illegally selling petrol through open containers.

Transport fares to be reduced following petrol price cut

According to officials, the crackdown was initiated after the petroleum price cut was announced, and some pumps stopped supplying fuel in anticipation of the new rates.

The authorities emphasized that such practices would not be tolerated.
