Three women killed over property dispute in Sargodha

SARGODGA: Three women were brutally killed while three others sustained severe injuries by their fraternal uncle over a property dispute in Sargodha.

According to the police, the tragic incident occurred at Chak No 103 NB the women were attacked over a property dispute.

The fraternal uncle named Irfan had a dispute with his widowed sister-in-law Qamar Batool over property, according to family sources.

Infuriated over her asking for her share in the property, Irfan killed Qamar Batool and her two daughters, Alisha and Maryam. Three other daughters, Nimra, Mafia and Zainab were seriously injured.

Soon after the incident, the police along with DPO Sargodha reached the site of the gruesome murder. The killer managed to escape and police has formed search parties to nab the killer.

The deceased and the injured have been shifted to Sargodha hospital.

According to initial reports, the women were killed with a blunt and sharp object like an axe.

The police forensic team has gathered evidence.

IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has taken notice of the incident and has ordered for immediate arrest of the killers.

Taking notice of the incident, the Punjab chief minister has sought a detailed report and ordered the best medical care for the injured.
