Three youngsters drown in Malir River

KARACHI: In a tragic incident, three young individuals tragically lost their lives after drowning in Karachi’s Malir River.

Rescues sources said that the victims were immersed in the pond, leading to their unfortunate demise.

The bodies of all three young individuals have been transferred to a hospital for further examination and formal legal procedures.

The identity of the three dead could not be ascertained immediately.

In August, six members of a family and their driver drowned when their car was washed away by a flood in the river.

Their bodies were recovered after 12 days of search operation by the Pakistan Navy and other rescue teams.

In July, another family of four drowned in the river when their motorcycle fell into the water.
