Tirich Mir peak to be developed as a tourist attraction

PESHAWAR: Tirich Mir, the highest peak in the whole of Hindukush region, will be developed as a tourist attraction.
This year, Tirch Mir will be promoted as a tourist attraction, with climbing royalties and trekking fees waived, according to Tourism Advisor Zahid Chan.
He said International mountaineers will be invited to climb Tirch Mir peak, and issues related to tourist NOCs will be resolved soon.
Earthquake jolts Swat, adjoining areas
Additionally, highways leading to tourist spots are being improved, and efforts will be made to end encroachments on tourist places, according to Zahid Chan.
Rising 7,707 meters above sea level, Tirich Mir is the highest mountain located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
Tirich Mir peak is situated in Chitral, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
