Triple murder sends shockwaves in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A father and his two sons were killed in a targeted shooting in the Darkali Syedan area of Rawalpindi, police said Monday.

According to initial reports, the tragic incident appears to be the result of an old rivalry. SHO Jatli Police Station confirmed that the victims were identified as Mushtaq Shah and his two sons.

Two of the victims died on the spot, while the third succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the hospital.

Police say two suspects have been taken into custody so far. City Police Officer (CPO) has taken notice of the incident and directed SP Saddar to visit the scene and ensure the immediate arrest of all the culprits.

The investigation is underway.
