Twin cities likely to receive another spell of rain today

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain and thunderstorms for twin cities Islamabad, Rawalpindi and various regions across the country, bringing much-needed relief from the prevailing heat.
According to the latest PMD advisory, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad and its surrounding areas on Thursday,
PUNJAB
Rawalpindi, Murree, Gujrat, Gujranwala, and Hafizabad are also likely to receive rainfall. Rain is also expected in Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, and Faisalabad. Additionally, Sialkot, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur and Mianwali are likely to experience rain..
KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA:
The province is expected to witness rain accompanied by strong winds. This includes areas like Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Mandi Bahauddin.

BALOCHISTAN:
Northeastern Balochistan is forecasted to receive rain at several locations, including Jhal Magsi, Sibi, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, and Usta Muhammad. Rain is also expected in Khuzdar, Kalat, Dera Bugti, Barkhan, and Musa Khel. Thunderstorms and rain are anticipated in Sherani and Zhob.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir:
These regions are expected to see rain with thunderstorms.
SINDH:
Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Jacobabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki, Kashmore, and Dadu.
The PMD has also warned that coastal areas of Sindh will remain hot and humid despite the expected rain in other regions.
The department has urged the public to take necessary precautions during the forecast period and stay updated with the latest weather advisories.
