Two cops martyred, four injured in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT: In a tragic incident, unidentified assailants carried out an attack on a police mobile van at the Pezo Police Station, leaving two officers dead and three others wounded.

The assailants responsible for the attack remain unidentified till the filing of this report, while the police have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation. The attack unfolded as the police mobile van was patrolling in the Pezo Police Station area.

Suddenly, a group of armed assailants launched an attack on the team, opening fire and causing chaos. As a result, two brave officers lost their lives in the line of duty, while three others sustained injuries from the gunfire, police said. This incident has once again highlighted the dangers and challenges that law enforcement personnel face daily as they work tirelessly to maintain peace and security in the volatile region.The police force swiftly responded to the scene, mobilising a substantial number of officers to surround the area and secure it.
