Two dead in a bus-truck collision on M-3 Motorway

NANKANA SAHIB: A passenger bus collided with a trailer, killing two and injuring two others, on the M-3 Motorway near Nankana Sahib early Friday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police.
The initial report stated that the accident happened due to the bus driver’s drowsiness, which caused the vehicle to crash into a trailer parked or moving ahead.
Pakistan Railways fares to rise from tomorrow
Rescue teams rushed to the scene, and the injured were shifted to the nearest hospital for treatment. Two of the deceased succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
Motorway Police have once again urged drivers to take adequate rest and avoid driving while fatigued, especially during long-distance travel.
An investigation is underway to determine further details.
