Two earthquakes an hour apart shake Swat, Buner

SWAT/BUNER: On Sunday afternoon, around 12:45 PM, earthquake tremors were felt in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Adjoining areas also reported aftershocks.

The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 4.4 on the Richter scale, and the depth was at 185 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush mountain range, Seismological Center Islamabad said.

Around 1:45 PM, earthquake shocks were felt in Buner, nearly 100 KM travelling distance from Swat.

Initial reports showed no loss of life or property in either of the earthquakes.
