Two soldiers martyred in blast in North Waziristan: ISPR


ISLAMABAD: Two soldiers lost their lives as an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a security forces convoy in the Razmak area of North Waziristan district, as reported by the military’s media wing on Wednesday.

According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the martyred soldiers have been identified as Lance Naik Ehsan Badshah, aged 33, hailing from Karak district, and Lance Naik Sajid Hussain, aged 30, from Kurram district.

“Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists present in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the statement issued by ISPR read further.
