Two terrorist commanders, associates surrender

QUETTA: Two terrorist commanders along with their associates have laid down arms and surrendered to the state of Pakistan.
Accompanied by provincial minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and DIG CTD Balochistan, the former militants announced their decision during a press conference in Quetta.
Key figures among those surrendering include Najibullah alias Darvesh alias Adam and Abdul Rasheed alias Khudaidad alias Kamash,.
Speaking at the conference, ex-commander Najibullah admitted causing significant harm to Pakistan and its security forces during his time with separatist organisations.
He revealed that such groups exploit the emotions of the Baloch people to provoke them against the state.

“I joined the organisation at the immature age of 14, filled with hatred against Pakistan due to their propaganda. My ignorance led me to harm the state,” he said.
Najibullah disclosed meeting operatives of a neighbouring country’s intelligence agency. “I presented several ideas to them, but they reprimanded me and made it clear they had no interest in our independence. They only supported us to destabilise Pakistan,” he stated.
Earlier, Provincial Minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledi condemned the ongoing cycle of violence in Balochistan, calling it a “heinous game of terrorism.” He accused handlers of misleading innocent youth with false promises and taking them to the mountains. “The government wholeheartedly welcomes those who surrender”, he said
