University student shot dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A university student has been shot dead in Islamabad in front of her roommates in cold blood.

As per a report filed with the Ramna police station, a 22-year-old student of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was shot dead in her hostel room on April 19.

According to the complaint filed by the deceased’s brother, an unknown male entered the hostel premises and dragged his sister to another room and asked the roommates to remain silent.

The accused then shot the sister.

The brother of the deceased said that his sister was shot dead in front of three roommates, and due to multiple shots, the 22-year-old student succumbed to her injuries.

The police, after registering the case, have started investigations and are on the lookout for the culprit.
