US embassy upgrades visa appointment system

KARACHI: The US Embassy has upgraded its visa appointment system to facilitate the applicants. The new upgraded appointment system will come into effect on March 8.

According to the US Consulate General in Karachi, all visa applicants will need to create a new profile in the updated system before scheduling their appointments.

Applicants who have previously paid their visa fees or secured appointments under the old system are advised to register with the same email address to ensure their information is transferred without issues, according to the embassy.

For those who made payments before March 3, 2025, the embassy has recommended entering the payment date and receipt number when setting up their profiles.
