US “stands for democracy” amid Pakistan political party ban

WASHINGTON: The United States (US) Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller addressed the ban imposed on a political party in Pakistan on Monday.

During the press briefing in the US capital Washington, the spokesperson expressed concern over the ban on the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Miller talked about the importance of upholding democratic values and principles.
