We will reach Rawalpindi at all cost, vows Gandapur

CM KP

MARDAN: Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur vowing to reach Rawalpindi by overcoming every obstacle said that they will record their protest at all costs and are ready to face anything that comes their way.

Addressing the media in Mardan, where his convoy had arrived, Gandapur declared, “We will cross every hurdle to reach Rawalpindi. Let the Punjab government do what it can; we are not afraid.” He further added that something big is about to happen, saying, “The real showdown is yet to come.”

Referring to the current political tensions, Gandapur mentioned that “Article 804” has been enforced in Pakistan.

Commenting on the protest demonstration the PTI plans to hold at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi today, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said on Saturday that the party had again decided to create chaos in the society

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she said that the PTI leaders must bear one thing in mind and that was they had not been granted permission for the demonstration. “Section 144 has already been enforced in the garrison city.”

But it appeared, the minister added, that the party only understood the language of force.
