ISLAMABAD: Humid and hot conditions will likely subside by tonight signaling an end to the monsoon season from all parts of Pakistan within the next 12 to 24 hours, according to weather outlook experts.
Following this, post-monsoon rains are forecast across the country from September 26 to October 2.
Meteorologist Sarfaraz Khan predicts that the current humid weather will persist for a few more hours and is likely end by tonight.
Karachi to face rising temperatures
After September 24, Pakistan will experience dry and hot conditions for two days, offering temporary relief before the arrival of a new Western Disturbance (WD) system by the evening of September 26.
This WD system is expected to bring widespread rainfall, offering much-needed respite after a brief spell of dry weather.
