WEB DESK: For the final Sunday of March, the weather forecast presents a mixed bag across Pakistan. While most parts of the country can expect dry conditions, some regions are gearing up for rain and thunderstorms. Mountainous terrains might even see some snowfall.
In the northern regions of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, residents should prepare for the arrival of rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers. For those in the higher altitudes, snowfall is on the cards too.

Meanwhile, southern areas of the country are set to experience brisk winds, offering a refreshing change from the usual weather patterns. However, residents of Islamabad and surrounding areas should anticipate partly cloudy skies, with the possibility of morning thunderstorms and strong winds.
Moving towards the Punjab province, while most areas will remain dry, certain pockets including Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal and Lahore may witness sporadic showers accompanied by gusty winds.
In contrast, Sindh province is anticipated to experience dry and hot conditions, albeit with dusty winds sweeping through the southern districts. Similarly, Balochistan province is forecasted to remain predominantly dry, although residents in the southern districts should brace themselves for strong winds.

For those in Gilgit-Baltistan, cloudy skies are on the horizon, along with gusty winds and thundershowers. Additionally, there’s a chance of snowfall in the mountainous areas, creating a wintry spectacle for those in the region.
In Kashmir, alongside the cloud cover, there’s a possibility of rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms, with snowfall predicted in the mountainous terrain.
Citizens are advised to remain cautious while making travel plans and consider the likely weather conditions while making preparations for trips.
