Wednesday’s weather: dry conditions all across, strong winds in the south

WEB DESK: On Wednesday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that the weather will be dry in most parts of the country and gusty winds are expected in southern parts.

However, in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas, it is expected to remain partly cloudy apart from thundershowers at few places.

Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas can expect dry weather with a possibility of strong winds in the afternoon, the PMD said.

In Punjab, dry weather and strong winds are expected in most districts of the province. However, southern districts may experience particularly gusty conditions in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the weather will remain dry and partially cloudy in Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas, with a chance of strong winds later in the day.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for the most part, anticipates dry conditions throughout the province, although strong winds are possible in the afternoon.

Moving south, Sindh will experience hot and dry weather with strong winds expected in most districts of the province. Likewise, Balochistan is forecasted to have dry weather and gusty windy weather in most districts.

On the other end, right up north, Kashmir might see some rain along with winds and thundershowers at few places. But Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to have dry weather on Wednesday.
