Rain predicted in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Rain and wind with thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Islamabad, Pothohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

However mainly dry and partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Thunderstorm with lightning and rain is expected in Vehari, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, and Pishin. Fast winds and possible rain with thunderstorms in Murree, Galiyat and surroundings.

Dry and hot weather is expected in most parts of Sindh. Rain likely in Dera Ismail Khan, Waziristan, Kurram, Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Malakand. Possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Kohistan and Mansehra. Chance of rain with thunderstorms in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Dust raising gusty winds are expected in coastal areas of Balochistan.
