Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Monday that the people of Karachi will never accept census results if the mega city’s population was shown less than 30 million.

Addressing a press conference, he claimed that conspiracy was being hatched to reduce the population of urban Sindh, particularly Karachi and Hyderabad.

He stated that “not counting our people in the census undermines our right to governance. During the census, the MQM-P repeatedly informed the federal government and relevant authorities about the irregularities occurring in the census.”
