Woman harassed in broad daylight

KARACHI: Karachi witnessed yet another disturbing incident of daytime sexual harassment, as a man harassed a woman on a public street.

According to local police authorities, an unidentified motorcyclist sexually harassed the woman in the North Karachi area, specifically in Sector 11-B, before swiftly escaping the scene.

Surveillance camera footage from a nearby residence clearly captured the face of the perpetrator engaged in the act of sexual harassment.

This occurrence is part of a growing trend of such incidents taking place in Pakistan, where women have been subjected to harassment in broad daylight.

Notably, a video recently went viral on social media, depicting a man on a red motorcycle committing a sexual assault against a woman in the Gulistan-e-Johar area.

The surveillance footage from that incident revealed the man parking his motorcycle on a street and disrobing before attempting to assault a passing woman.

The woman courageously resisted and fought back against her assailant, forcing him to flee the scene hastily.
