Woman murdered at Margalla Hills

ISLAMABAD: A woman has been murdered in the Margalla Hills causing fear and panic in the federal capital.

According to the police, the body of an unidentified woman was found in the Margalla Hills approximately 1.5 kilometers from the site of the sealed Monal hotel on Wednesday.

According to initial reports she had been shot in the head by unknown assailants.

The police, led by SHO Shafqat Fayaz from Kohsar Police, arrived at the scene and transported the body to Polyclinic Hospital for further examination.

They have collected fingerprint samples from the deceased to help identify her.

Police have registered the case and have started investigations into the murder and any leads to finding the killers.
