Yousaf Raza Gilani elected unopposed chairman senate

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party leader Yousaf Raza Gilani has been elected unopposed chairman senate on Tuesday. While Sadal Khan Nasir has been elected as deputy speaker.

President Asif Ali Zardari had summoned the house to meet for its inaugural session today for the oath-taking of newly-elected members and the election of the Senate chairman and deputy chairman.
