YouTube Premium and Music launch in Pakistan

KARACHI: YouTube has announced the launch of YouTube Premium and YouTube Music in Pakistan.

YouTube Premium offers a superior ad-free viewing experience. It also allows background play and offline downloads for videos. It also includes ad-free music, background play, and music downloads.

YouTube Music is a music streaming app with official songs, albums, playlists, artist radio, and a vast catalog of remixes, live performances, covers, and music videos.

The launch of these services in Pakistan are seen as a significant opportunity for the nation’s music industry. Local artists are uploading their content on the site more than ever before, allowing them to expand to global fanbases.

The YouTube Music app is available for download on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

PRICES
YouTube Premium is available from Rs479 and includes membership to Music Premium. Viewers can also sign up for the Premium Family Plan, available from Rs899, which allows them to share their Premium membership with up to 5 other members.

YouTube Music Premium is separately available for Rs299. Music Premium Family Plan is available from Rs479.

Eligible users can also avail a special introductory offer of 1 month free for either service.
